Pathways to University

University Entry Requirements

To be admitted to an undergraduate program at an Australian university, you must have completed:

  • the equivalent of Year 12 in a country whose school system is regarded as equivalent to Australia's own, or
  • the International Baccalaureate, or
  • the first year of a Bachelor degree in your home country.

What if you don't meet these requirements?

If you don't meet one of these three entry requirements, you will have to choose one the following three "pathways to University" and enrol in

The wrong choice could be costly

Making the right choice out of these three pathways is very important indeed: the wrong choice could add up to 18 months to your studies and significantly increase the cost; the right choice will save you a lot of time and money. Making the right choice will also enable you to apply for a PACKAGED PROGRAM, which has the advantage that you will need just one single Student Visa. Furthermore, if you are from a Level 3 or Level 4 country, the choice you make will also significantly affect the financial requirements which the Department of Immigration puts on your Student Visa application.

We can help you make the right choice
